T.O for T.O
Time out for Terrell Owens- WR of the Philidelphia Eagles, he is suspended for about 2 (i think) more games and benched for the rest of the season. I being a packer fan(also a new england + oakland and many others), think since hes alrdy being benched, The Eagles should trade him to the packers, Packers who is on one of their worst season in the history of the NFL, will probably get the #1 Draft Pick, for the next season, unless they can win all their games for the rest of the season. My idea is that they should trade Donald Driver or the #1 draft pick for T.O,in my opinion is a good trade- Donald a decent WR, and #1 draft is also a gamble but T.O is having a bad experience in the eagles, and 85% that this is his last season for the Eagles. I also like LT(Ladainian Tomlinson) who can kick, throw, run, and just bout everything, and ]would be a great help for the packers. My idea- Ahman Green+ #1 draft pick or Donald driver(depending on if they trade one of them). ALso, i think the packers sould now just act as if its just the preseason (start rookies) and would lose, but would gain a benefit, the #1 draft pick My picks for trade- Ahman Green+donald driver for Ladianian Tomlinson, and #1 draft for T.O!! i wish it would happen

I dont think the Chargers are giving up Ladainian Tomlinson anytime soon or at all. Don't call him LT either because he will never have as much impact as the real LT Lawrence Taylor (who invented the strip) did.

Trade Ahman Green? I think that's quite unlikely. Mike Sherman has been enjoying great depth at RB in previous seasons and is unlikely to give this up. Besides the Eagles are built around Westbrook as both a passing and running threat.
While TO is a great WR I don't want to see another one of Drew Rosenhaus' whiny prima donnas hold out next season. Javon Walker should be healthy next season and we should be better at wide receiver. Besides we probably don't have enough cap room.
Just my two cents.

The only teams I can POSSIBLY see taking a chance on Mr. Me First are the Falcons and the Raiders. Mike "Most Overrated QB EVAR" Vick has already said he'd love to play with TO. It's easy to see why. TO would make Vick at least look like a decent QB since he'll be able to catch all of Vick's horrible passes.
And Al Davis has always run a motley crue out there in Oakland, he'd love to have TO. Although I don't know if he and Randy "MJ" Moss could coexist. Other than that, TO is done. He's proven that he simply can't exist in a pro football locker room.
Maybe he should've stuck with that basketball idea he had. Now there's a total "me first" game. He can be like Kobe and take 500 shots a game while his teammates all stand around and watch.

Vick overrated? Did you not see last week? He actually stepped up and did what everyone said he couldn't: stay in the pocket and throw. Even if he's not the best throwing QB out there, he's still got a cannon for an arm and his legs make him possibly the most dangerous QB out there. Oh, and who does he have to work with as receivers outside of Crumpler? Really.
Anyways, back to the topic. honestly I hope no one picks up T.O., or if they do I hope no one gives him the enormous contract he is looking for. Honestly he needs to have something take him down a notch, and if people see what a cancer he really is and just choose to ignore him that might be what he needs.

He did it against the Dolphins, a very sorry team... and the Falcons still only managed THREE points in the entire second half. Sorry, not impressed. When he can hang there in the pocket against a real defense and score some points through the air on a real defense, then we'll talk. Until then...
*Static* After further review... the ruling on the field stands. Mike Vick is impersonating an NFL quarterback. TheEPIC will be charged his first team time out. *Static*

Vick is IMHO a very capable QB as T.O. is an able receiver though he will never match Jerry Rice nor come close.
CORRECTION: Vick is a capable QB when it comes to getting the rushing yards i personally think his passing is aweful......

Honestly though, who does Vick have to throw to outside of their Tight End? The reason he has to use those legs so much is his receivers just aren't that good outside of Crumpler. Also, we need to consider he is learning a new style of offense still. And one last thing, I think Vick himself said it best when he said something to the effect of "Stop criticizing me when I'm winning games." The man wins games, plain and simple. No quarterback can be called over-rated when he is winning games like that.

Winning games like what? What have the Falcons done? They still haven't had back to back winning seasons with Vick. When they do make the playoffs they get crushed. The only time the Falcons are good is when they are pounding the ball with Dunn and Duckett. Yes their receiving corp is crap, but it would help if Vick could actually get them the ball. If you actually watch game film of him throwing, more than half the time he shortarm's it or cannonball's it. He has no touch on his passes whatsoever.

You say they haven't had back to back winning seasons, well maybe losing Vick for almost the entire season 2 seasons ago affected that. Otherwise they've made the playoffs under him for as long as I remember him being their QB. In fact they have done pretty decent in those playoffs as I remember 3 seasons ago watching him beating the packers at lambeau pretty soundly in the bar at Benihana's in Newport Beach. It's as simple as this, when the Falcons have Vick, they win, when they don't, they lose. That speaks volumes. He has to be doing something right.

I think T.O. needs to go to a real coach that will curse him out and discpline him. An example would be Bill Cowher (sp). You can't let one player ruin your football team...

T.O. going to the Falcons is laughable. Donavan(sp?) is a great pocket passer, and he can spread it if he needs. And even there T.O. complained. what do you think will happen if he goes to the team whos ran for most yards in the NFL, hardly passes, and doesnt care that they dont pass.
calling the Dolphins a sorry TEAM is fine and all, but discounting their defense is a mistake.
admitedly, the Falcons did drop the ball on some nice, what could of been scoring drives(literally) but they were ahead, and they play ahead well.
and the recievers at the Falcons are indeed mediocre, but not bad. Finneran was nearing a 100 yards and had a TD(2?) and Ronny White probably got near 50 yards on the day. course, Crumpler showed up like he always does.
Edit: haha sry, my sentence didnt even make sense

Vick may be overrated but he's not the most overrated QB ever.. there have been worse 1st overall picks, most notably Ryan Leaf. He has a heck of an arm but needs more experience in decision making. Give him a few years and he'll get there. Whether or not his team will be up to standard then is a whole different issue.
EDIT... Ryan Leaf was the 2nd pick in 1998, my bad.
